No Show
- A No Show is defined for the purposes of this policy as;
- A person or persons who do not arrive for a pre-booked tee time and not calling 12 hours in advance to cancel, either by removing his/ their name by way of the reservation system or calling the Pro Shop.
- Persons who knowingly book players into a group who are not aware or have no intention of playing, and the names are not removed 24 hours in advance of the tee time by either calling the reservation system or contacting the Pro Shop/Starter.
- Any member or military booking a guest(s) and not canceling their guest(s) by midnight of the day preceding their scheduled tee time.
Mitigating Factors or Circumstances
- A no show will not be registered against a member or registered military daily fee player if:
- Weather conditions are adverse. Adverse weather conditions can include cold, rain, frost or snow.
- There is an illness or family emergency.
Administrative & Disciplinary Steps
- For Members and Military daily fee players, the following actions will take place:
- All members and military daily fee players shall receive a complimentary no show. This no show will be accounted for in the reservation system but no action will be taken.
- Upon a second no show, a member or military daily fee player shall receive a verbal warning from a member of the Clubs Executive Committee, outlining the steps that will be taken for future infractions. These steps a detailed below.
- Upon a third no show, a member or military daily fee player shall receive written notice from the Executive Committee that they are on probation and will lose their booking privileges for a period of two weeks and that they could be liable for further sanctions as detailed below.
- Upon a fourth infraction, a member or military daily fee player shall receive written notice from the Executive Committee that their booking privileges have been suspended for two weeks and that further infractions will incur a two week suspension of playing privileges.
- Upon a fifth infraction, a member or military daily fee player shall receive written notice from the Executive Committee that their playing privileges have been suspended for two weeks.
- Continued infractions beyond this may result in termination of membership or in the case of a military daily fee player, denial of access to the facility. This step can only be taken with the approval of the Executive Committee.
- For Guest No Shows, the following actions will take place: (Note that Guests are held against/are the responsibility of the Member whose name immediately precedes the Guest in the reservation system)
- All members and military daily fee players shall receive a complimentary guest no show. This no show will be accounted for in the reservation system but no action will be taken.
- Upon the second no show, a member or military daily fee player shall receive written notice that they are on probation and will be obliged to pay a full 18 hole non-military green fee for future guest no shows.
- Upon the third no show, a member or military daily fee player shall be sent a bill for a full 18 hole non-military green fee.
- Further infractions will result in the requirement for full 18 hole green fee payment in advance for a guest booking. No refund will be offered if the guests are unable to make the scheduled tee time.
